Phone & Email Support
I'm available by phone or email 24/7 for any questions or concerns you may have. Communication about how your prenatal appointments are going, etc..
2 Prenatal Visits
Our first visit is to talk about your needs and my role as your birth doula and how I support you and your family, plus talk though your birth vision/desires. The second visit is to talk about positions for before labor and labor, comfort measures, nutrition and exercise. what to pack in labor bag, As well as fears or concerns you may have.
I'm certified through DONA International and trained by Kathy Stewart as a Birth Doula in 2013. Also trained in Comfort Measures to ease labor pain. I have many years experience in Breastfeeding techniques and a good deal of wisdom about the subject.
I provide Photography, Aromatherapy, Massage, Acupressure and Lactation Cookies in my services!
My Birth Support Fee
your photo session will be around 30 to 35 weeks pregnant. I will take 20 to 40 images and provide them to you on a USB flash drive. Fee is $300.00
things I don't do:
Perform any clinical tasks
A doula is non-medical support. I do not do internal exams, bp checks, or any medical related tasks.
Make decisions for you
I am there to provide physical, emotional and informational support! I will not tell you what decisions you need to make. I will simply provide you evidenced base guidance and support your decisions that you make in your birth experience.
During labor I will provide physical and emotional support to you and your partner though your birth experience. Including comfort measures and guidance through your birth journey. I am a constant support through your whole labor and delivery.
Baby’s first feeding Support
I will remain with you for the first hour or two after you have your baby to help you get settled and support with breastfeeding and that special bond that desired.
Postpartum follow-up visit
I offer two postpartum visits with my birth support services. I will come visit at the birth place the day after you deliver. Also 5 to 7 days after delivery at your home, that gives you a few days to settle in as a new family. We can talk about how day to day life is and breastfeeding. I'm always available to my clients by phone and/or email for any questions.
